Musical Once has won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Adapted from the 2007 romantic musical film of the same name, Once portrays the story of a heartbroken street musician in Dublin whose sorrowful songs catch the attention of a young Czech lady. Through music, they express love and loss, singing with raw emotion, capturing the essence of romance, vulnerability, sorrow, and sweetness. As everyone becomes enthralled by the subtle chemistry between them, what dramatic changes will fate bring next?

Following its Off-Broadway debut in 2011, the musical garnered tremendous acclaim, swiftly announcing its move to Broadway after its first performance. It rapidly gained popularity, earning 11 Tony Award nominations in 2012 and securing 8 wins, including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical. In 2013, it further received the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and in 2014, it was honored with the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
