LAI Chih-sia, from Taichung, is a sound artist, theatre music designer, performer, and educator dedicated to the performing arts. She has been selected for residencies at GRAME (Générateur de Ressource et d’Activités Musicales Exploratoires) in Lyon, France; Het Entrepot in Belgium; Ting Shuo Hear Say; and the Taipei Artist Village. She is currently the Co-Artistic Director of One Litre Sound and serves as a part-time computer music teacher at Tunghai University and the music program of Taichung Municipal Qing Shui Senior High School. Her recent works focus on local culture, objects, and the connection with sound art. Her works have been presented at various festivals, including the Taiwan International Festival of Arts, Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival, Taipei Children's Arts Festival, NTCH Ideas Lab, Close to You International Performing Object Festival, Juming Museum Children’s Art Education Biennale, and the Tokyo Experimental Festival.
