YEH Ting-hao

New Media Artist

YEH Ting-hao is a new media art creator and educator, proficient in creative coding, immersive visuals, experimental sound and live performance. His works mostly focus on the relationship between sound and visual, integrate prefabricated and instantaneous events, starting from glitch aesthetics, and trying to find the parodies and dialectics of the new media age. YEH participates extensively in Taiwan's experimental sound thematic events, such as TranSonic and Lacking Sound Festival. In addition to his solo works, he also participates in dance and theater productions. For example, YiLab.'s Loop Me, ReMove Me and W.A.V.E, as well as Naxs Crop.'s Render Ghost. Since 2013, he has formed the audio-visual duo HH with YAO Chung-han. He is currently the head of the experimental audio-visual promotion group "Fluid Noise," and teaches part-time in related departments of several universities. YEH also co-runs the TouchDesignerTW with CHEN Pin-chen since 2017, and has held several promotion workshops.
